These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Hero English mobile and web applications, websites, products, and services (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.
Hero English provides language learning tools, content, and interactive lessons designed to help users improve their English proficiency. We may update, enhance, or discontinue features from time to time.
You must also use a compatible device and software to access the Platform. Device and software compatibility may change over time.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activities under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and promptly update it as needed.
Registration may be free; however, certain features may require a paid subscription ("Subscription"). Fees, billing cycles, and available plans will be displayed before purchase. Taxes may apply based on your location. Payments may be processed by third-party providers under their own terms and privacy policies.
If you enroll in an auto-renewing subscription through an app store, your subscription will renew unless canceled before the end of the billing period via the respective store settings. Please consult Apple App Store or Google Play support pages for managing and canceling subscriptions.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to, and will not assist others to: (a) reverse engineer, copy, or create derivative works of the Platform; (b) bypass any security features; (c) use the Platform in any manner that infringes rights or violates laws; (d) record, scrape, or redistribute content made available within the Platform except as expressly allowed.
Where the Platform allows you to submit content (e.g., text, audio, images), you grant Hero English a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute such content solely to operate and improve the Platform and Services.
All trademarks, service marks, logos, and content displayed on the Platform are the property of Hero English or their respective owners. You may not use any marks without prior written consent.
The Platform may include links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Use of third-party services is at your own risk.
Access to the Platform may be interrupted for maintenance, upgrades, or events beyond our control. We may modify or discontinue features or Services at any time.
The Platform and all content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties regarding accuracy, reliability, availability, non-infringement, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hero English shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from or related to your use of the Platform.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hero English, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your country of residence, and disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of competent courts in that location, unless otherwise required by law.
